Understand where your money goes.
Open Treasury makes UK public finances accessible, visual, and easy to explore. See how public money flows through the UK economy — what’s raised, what’s spent, and where it really goes. Powered by real data, designed for everyone. No bias. No spin. Just the facts.

What is Open Treasury?
Open Treasury is a mobile app and public data platform that helps people make sense of how the UK government raises and spends money. It visualises national and local finance data using clear, interactive charts and maps — turning complex spreadsheets into something anyone can understand.
We use official data from HM Treasury, the ONS, HMRC and PESA to keep everything neutral, factual, and current. Open Treasury exists to make public finances accessible to everyone — journalists, students, policymakers, and taxpayers alike.
